State Farm Insurance Contracts with Thomas Cuisine Management
TCM was selected as the food service provider for State Farm Insurance in Dupont, Washington. State Farm’s campus employs approximately 1,200 personnel.  TCM brought in management teams from throughout the company to help open the account on Monday, May 17th.  TCM will be providing cafeteria dining, catering and vending services and is looking forward to a long partnership with State Farm.

TCM is please to announce the addition of Jeff Block as Director of Purchasing
Jeff is focused on the development of long term partner relationships and the optimization of purchasing methods and strategies. Prior to his current position, he spent seventeen years with a broad line distributor. His experience includes Director of Category Management, Director of Marketing, and District Sales Management.  Raised in Michigan, Jeff studied at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. After college, Jeff moved to Alaska and began a career in the food service industry. He spent sixteen years working as a Culinary Instructor for the University of Alaska and as an Executive Chef in hotel chains and independent restaurants.

TCM was selected as the food service provider at IM Flash in Lehi, Utah. IM Flash Technologies, LLC, was formed in January 2006 by Micron Technology, Inc., and Intel Corporation.

Skagit Valley Hospital Partners with TCM in Mount Vernon, WA 
TCM was selected as the food service provider for Skagit Valley Hospital (SVH). SVH strives to be the best regional community hospital in the Northwest, working with the communities to promote health and wellness. They provide a full continuum of care to the community, ranging from outpatient diagnostics and rehabilitation services to surgery and acute care. SVH currently has 115 licensed beds and they employ over 1,200 personnel.  SVH’s dining services include patient services, cafeteria dining and catering services.

TCM is pleased to announce the addition of Aaron Coleman as Director of Business Development 
Aaron brings over 12 years of sales and marketing experience to TCM.  His background has been in finance and technology working with c-level executives throughout the United States, helping their companies operate more efficiently and profitably.  Aaron received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Idaho.  Aaron is responsible for all sales activity and developing new markets for Thomas Cuisine.

New Director of Business Development added to TCM team
Mark Pyper has joined the TCM management team as the new Director of Business Development.  Mark brings over 20 years
of experience in business development, sales and marketing to TCM.  He has worked with such companies as Marvell, Micron Electronics, Compaq and LiteTouch and earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from Brigham Young University. In his
new role, Mark will have responsibility for all sales and marketing activities at TCM.

TCM is Awarded Enumclaw Food Service Contract
Enumclaw Regional Hospital is an acute care facility that serves communities in Southeast King and Northeast Pierce counties, Washington. Founded in 1949, Enumclaw is licensed for 38 beds and is designated as a critical access facility in
the U.S. Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services program for rural hospitals. Thomas Cuisine Management will begin patient, dining and catering services at Enumclaw in early April.

Three TCM employees promoted to Senior Food Service Directors
Ron Hamakawa, Bryon Orr and Kelee Hansen have done an exemplary job managing their accounts, as well as perpetuating our corporate culture and values and have recently been promoted to Senior Food Service Directors.

Ron Hamakawa has been with TCM for 6 years and will be overseeing several accounts in the Washington area.  Bryon Orr has been with TCM for 12 years and will be overseeing some accounts in the Boise, Idaho area.  Kelee Hansen has been with TCM for 4 years and will be overseeing our several accounts in the Magic Valley area.  Their promotion provides our firm an opportunity to be prepared for our future growth with strong individuals that know and have delivered the Thomas ideals.

St. Anthony’s Medical Center partners with Thomas Cuisine

St. Anthony Hospital opened its new facility on Tuesday, March 17 in Gig Harbor, Washington. St. Anthony’s is a full-service community hospital employing nearly 500 personnel and is licensed for 80 beds. St. Anthony’s is distinguished by its range
of inpatient and outpatient medical services and environmentally sensitive construction. Thomas Cuisine Management is contracted to manage St. Anthony’s food service needs for patient services, café dining and catering events.

TCM hires Director of Training & Development
Bob Rock was recently hired as TCM’s Director of Training & Development. He has over 25 years of professional development and training experience, as well as design and management of corporate training programs throughout the US. Bob is responsible for technical and compliance training, employee development, and management of TCM’s Corporate University. Passionate about learning, Bob has broad experience in adult learning and advanced training technologies. Bob is a Navy veteran, earning his Bachelor of Science in Management and his Master of Science in Management from Southern Wesleyan University.

TCM Provides Food Services for BD Medical
Thomas Cuisine Management was awarded the contract to provide dining and catering services for BD Medical in Sandy, Utah. TCM began serving the staff at BD Medical’s corporate dining facility as of December 8th. BD Medical develops, manufactures and sells medical supplies, devices, laboratory instruments, antibodies, reagents and diagnostic products.  BD employs over 1,000 personnel at their Utah facility.

Varian Medical Systems Partners with Thomas Cuisine
Thomas Cuisine Management was awarded the dining services contract at the Varian Medical Systems, Las Vegas, NV.   Varian Medical Systems develops leading solutions for advancing cancer treatment, radiosurgery, X-ray imaging, and security.  Varian has ±300 employees in Las Vegas area.  Thomas Cuisine Management will begin dining and catering services at Varian in November.
