Varian Medical Systems Partners with Thomas Cuisine
Thomas Cuisine Management was awarded the dining services contract at the Varian Medical Systems, Las Vegas, NV.   Varian Medical Systems develops leading solutions for advancing cancer treatment, radiosurgery, X-ray imaging, and security.  Varian has ±300 employees in Las Vegas area.  Thomas Cuisine Management will begin dining and catering services at Varian in November.

TCM Promotes Coggins to District Manager
Utah - Jimmy Coggins, Sr. FSD for the Utah Region, was recently promoted to District Manager.  Jimmy is overseeing
the IASIS accounts in the Utah region and Novell. Jimmy has been with TCM for over five years and has persisted in his commitment to excellence in every operational aspect. His oversight of the IASIS accounts has truly earned him this opportunity.

Thomas Cuisine Operates Patient Services at Evergreen Hospital

Evergreen Hospital Medical Center is at the heart of Evergreen Healthcare, a community-owned health care system.  Evergreen recently selected Thomas Cuisine Management to manage and operate their food services program. Evergreen, located in Kirkland, Washington, currently has 230 licensed beds and is expanding to 350 beds.  They employ over 3,200 personnel.  Evergreen’s dining services include patient services, catering, the Images Café, 3 delis and an espresso cart.

Novell Contracts Thomas Cuisine Management
Thomas Cuisine Management has been awarded the corporate dining services contract by Novell to manage their cafeteria and catering programs in Provo, Utah.  Novell is a leading operating system vendor.  They provide a unique combination of the best-engineered and most inter-operable Linux and IT management software system - “Making IT Work as One.”  Thomas Cuisine began food service operations at Novell on November 1st.

TCM opens in California
Clovis, California – Clovis Community Medical Center has contracted Thomas Cuisine Management to manage their healthcare, dining and catering services. Clovis has 109 licensed beds.  Thomas Cuisine begins service at The Grove Café in October.

TCM hires new Vice President

Greg Turpen has been selected as the Vice President of Operations, effective immediately.  Greg brings to the position, two years of cultivating a deep understanding for the philosophies and culture of TCM.  He has a proven track record of successfully adding new business opportunities for TCM.  Prior to joining TCM, Greg had over 10 years of technology sales and marketing experience.  He received his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Eastern Oregon University and completed his Master of Business Administration at Boise State University.

Huffman receives Promotion
Richard Huffman, has been promoted to a Senior Food Service Director.  In addition to his regular duties at St. Patrick Hospital and Providence Center, in Montana, Richard will also be assuming the oversight of GlaxoSmithKline in Hamilton, Montana.  Richard's diligent hard work and creative style have earned him this position.

Flathead Valley Community College
Kalispell, Montana - In August our partnership with Thomas Cuisine Management will begin at the Eagle’s Nest Cafe.  In our effort to continue to improve our service offerings and enhance the dining facilities for all who are enrolled, work, and visit Flathead Valley Community College we have selected Thomas Cuisine to help in our food and nutrition services department.  They are a firm that brings five star services to their clients.

TCM teams up with GlaxoSmithKline
Thomas Cuisine Management recently won the dining services contract at the GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) facility in Hamilton, Montana.   GSK is a world leading research based pharmaceutical company, engaged in the manufacturing and marketing
of ethical specialties, pharmaceuticals, animal health and consumer products.  The Big Sky Café doors were opened to the GSK employees in early June.

West Valley Medical Center Partners with Thomas Cuisine
West Valley Medical Center, MountainStar Healthcare Network, has contracted Thomas Cuisine Management to manage
their healthcare, dining and catering services. WVMC, located in Caldwell, Idaho, has 129 licensed beds.   The new Tenth Avenue Bistro was opened to prepare made-from-scratch meals for patients, personnel and visitors in early June.

International Gaming Technology Las Vegas Opens New Corporate Dining Facility
Thomas Cuisine Management has been awarded the corporate dining services contract by International Game Technology (IGT), to manage their cafeteria and catering programs in Las Vegas and Reno, Nevada. Thomas Cuisine Management opened the Buffalo Bistro at the new IGT corporate facility at the end of May in west Las Vegas.

Coggins Promoted to Senior Food Service Director
West Jordan, Utah - Jimmy Coggins, FSD at Jordan Valley Hospital, was promoted to the Senior Food Service Director in early January.  Mr. Coggins is overseeing the IASIS accounts in the Salt Lake City region. His commitment to excellence in all aspects of our operations at Jordan Valley Medical Center has afforded him this opportunity.
